The finish library
Explore our work by material. Each surface carries a lineage—from ancient mineral plasters to the architectural patinas of the modern age—and each is finished by hand.
Developed as a modern, thin-layer cementitious coating, microcement brings the strength of industrial materials into refined interiors. Applied by hand in layers just millimeters thin, it creates seamless, concrete-like planes of quiet strength. It is modern minimalism with an artisan's touch — and a craftsman's discipline.

Born in ancient Rome and perfected by master craftsmen in Renaissance Venice, stucco veneziano blends slaked lime, marble dust, and natural pigment into luminous, stone-like surfaces. It once graced the palaces and villas of Italian nobility. Today, the same hand-burnished technique brings centuries of artistry to contemporary interiors.

One of the oldest coatings known to man, limewash dates back thousands of years to ancient Egypt and Rome, where crushed limestone and water were transformed into a breathable, naturally antiseptic finish. It protected everything from Mediterranean villas to the White House. We apply it today with the same simple ingredients and time-honored brushwork.

Quarried near Tivoli, Italy for over two thousand years, travertine — lapis tiburtinus, the stone of Tibur — built the Colosseum and Bernini's colonnade at St. Peter's. Formed over millennia by mineral-rich springs, its veined, pitted surface is a record of deep time. Our travertine finishes capture that Roman grandeur in a handcrafted surface.

From the French for 'false wood,' this art was popularized in 19th-century France, where master grainers painted plain surfaces to rival the rarest exotic timbers — its roots reach back to Renaissance trompe-l'œil. What began as aristocratic illusion is now a showcase of the painter's craft. Each grain is drawn by hand, never repeated.

Roman Clay is a contemporary mineral wall finish inspired by the softly burnished plasters of historic European interiors. Applied by trowel in delicate layers, it creates subtle movement, matte depth and an architectural calm. We shape each surface by hand, balancing modern formulation with time-honored plastering sensibility.

From the carved boiserie of French châteaux to the clean architectural panels of today, wall paneling has shaped elegant interiors for centuries. We design and install custom panels that give rooms rhythm, depth, and a quiet architectural presence.

Inspired by the weathering steel of modern architecture, our oxide-effect finishes recreate the rich, evolving patina of corten steel by hand. Bold texture, natural variation, and an unmistakable contemporary character — crafted, not corroded.

Gold Metallic Plaster — A contemporary evolution of classic Venetian plaster, infused with metallic pigments that capture and reflect light. Applied by hand with a spatula in thin, deliberate layers, this finish creates a luminous golden surface with subtle movement and depth. Once reserved for palaces and grand interiors, metallic plaster has become the signature of modern luxury — bringing warmth, opulence, and quiet drama to accent walls, bars, and statement spaces.
